Paul Lafferty i have known for 25 years through good and bad times.
One thing about Paul is he does not talk badly about people and behind there backs he is a good man and this thread sucks.
leave Paul alone mind your own buisness
You think Paul not sad at the momment he wins a Group 1 not at the track scared owner might take horse away.
Have a heart and stop trying to cause problems in peoples lives,
What did Paul do to you.

Congrats Mentor, great to see an Owner with the foresight and the Balls to go against his Trainers wishes.
Joey Soma does not have too many Horses, but has now won the Summer Cup and now another Grade One on Saturday.
You should really consider whether Laff deserves to have the Horse back, I know what I would do, but you obviously know what is best for Love Struck.
All the best for the future with him:)-D

Just a general question ?
Who collects the trainer's share in a case like this.

My bet is that this horse will not run under Laff again.
Not because he did not believe in the horse and nominate him; nor for him not being around for the race; but, for after winning a Grade 1 (and the owners first at that), for only sending an sms to congratulate him!!!
Says it all I'm afraid.

Since no one seems to bother with the fact that the punter yet again has been kept in the dark,i dont give a fuck about the outcome ....(

Why not try and get some comments from our champion jockey Anton Marcus, on Love Struck, seeing that he rode LS, at least 4 times, and why with his excellent skill to assess a horses ability, he either chose not to, or did not want to, or had no choice to ride LS.
Whoever says what, well done to Lafferty?
If the horse is not going back to Lafferty, then Marcus should have the balls not to ride for Lafferty again, because, this puts a question mark on his ability to provide an objective assessment on a horses ability.
Would also be interesting to hear Strykers view, as he sat on rode this horse as well.
The transparency with horse racing in SA, is that it is a bit too opaque.
