Trainers always say that horses dont know their prices.True.
Are horses bred in the purple reared differently?

Due to this post,i had a look at TS's last run.Very good pace shown for an 80/1shot(SportingPost),sand.
Todays race looked like a coup,especially with the jockey arrangement and the draw.
Further confidence should be the horses he got beaten by in 1st two races,two/three timers already.

Hope C Basel is commentating today!

After looking at the race again, my opinion or order of finish is
1. Flight of Eagles
2. Zaganos
3. Tempered Steel

5/1 available on interbet

TS ran a good race but IMO was never going to win .

I told ur .it wil run 2nd.flight of eagle can win 2m0re!

From my experiences in January, the betting on all SA races are only opened 15 minutes before the race, when I asked if I could put 200 pounds on a horse he said he would have to phone for authority ! Got the needle and never placed the bet, just as well it ran 2nd at greyville. Maybe your mates know the betting shops that will take the volume or maybe my bookie who supposedly owns the totes has a limit on overseas racing.

they now prioce up all the races hours before. Yes if you walk into a betting shop with £200 onto anything local or international they HAVE to call a trader. It also depends on the odds.

So when ozy was 66/1 and 50/1 we went to 8 betting shops and got the lot on without 1 phonecall to head office.
