in my opinion UNRACED maidens should not run in listed raced. makes the trainers commit a bit earlier BEFORE the feature races arrive.
just my 5c worth.

I concur Mr H, but should be for all 'comments'.
Just a pity we cannot hear these comments before the Exotics start instead of 5 min before the 7th Race. This is true for all the on-course predenters and not just the lovely Julie. The on presenters get stable 'comments' and DO NOT pass this on immediately to the general public. Instead they use it for personal gain in PAs, JPs, etc. and then mislead the general public by stating Horse Y is their fancy. I have often heard them say Trainer/Jockey X were the first person that they bumped into on the course, or on arriving at the course met in the Car Park, etc, etc were these 'comments' were made.
IMO the on-course presentors are supposed to be an information source for the general public which is not the case at present. Maybe it is in their employment contracts not to be open and honest.
I think that Julie, and Vicky, MUST be allowed to present on their own, with no strings attached. The general public will then be given a truer picture. Consider the pertinent 'comments' of Gavin Venter in PE notwithstanding the influemce of Andrew 'vebal diahorea' Bon.
TRANSPARENCY' is the name of the game if one wants our beloved SPORT to continue.
Have not even looked at tomorrows Card, off to get another Dalwhinne.
Cheers for now.
