Sledging in Cricket
12 years 3 months ago
Read an article where Dr Bacher is very perturbed at the amount of sledging in school cricket. Says that in his day there was no sledging and he played with the best. Maybe because of team he played in they didn't have to sledge. Graeme Pollock, Barry Richards, Peter Pollock, Mike Proctor etc.
A lot of the sledging is personal which is unacceptable. He calls on the school authorities to speak to their teams regarding this, but I don't really know what they can do about it.
Any thoughts on this?

Started with the Aussies. Donald never said much, just gave them 'the stare'
I just don't like it when players makes personal remarks.
