I heard you have invited us all for prawns tonight. Lucky for u Stallone didn't win yesterday otherwise you would have been crying into your beer as the treble would have paid 146/1 or R 18k for R 125 stake.

Still a few grand not too shabby. I will settle for a chicken salad from McDonalds.

Looks like I need to search the storage for my old punting boots. I was just thinking the other day of that double we had R 400 stake first onto Fair Brutus at 14/1 then onto another ( can't remember its name but was owned by Yellow Star Stud) at 33/1 which led and got caught in last 100 metres. Bookie was shitting himself.

You guys have some memories?
That's the nature of the beast, I can't remember my losing bets yesterday but remember my 3 doubles and a treble with Mill Reef, Wabash and Petty Officer and my Union Jack to pay for the wedding (39 years ago)

Lol

Many funny stories Scotia. I recall receiving a call from no2son telling me to back a horse at Cheltenham festival. It was 5/1 fav on bookies website so I had 100 quid on the nose. Only problem was I went out of the market to check another event and when I went back the fav was still 5/1 but was no longer the same horse. Of course I didn't see this and ended up backing the wrong horse which then duly won. Best tip no2son ever gave me!!!
