Pakistan in SA
12 years 4 months ago
Pakistan, the most corrupt team in world cricket, will arrive here, one of the most corrupt countries in Africa, should be interesting.
Sure to be some controversy during the series.
It should be one way traffic though, sub continent batsman battle on the bouncy tracks , with our bowling attack. They have picked the giant fast bowler, Irfan who at age 30 has not yet played a test

They have cleaned up their act and will pose a stiff test for SA. There are a few suprise selections in their squad but if they play to their true potential then all three tests will get to a 5th day. Jamshad, Khan, Hafee and Misbach are fantastic batsman and Ajmel the spinner could cause havoc. Should be a cracking series to watch. My only hope is that Haysman gets offered another job on another planet.

Leopard never changes its spots I'm afraid, still wouldn't back them with dirty money

as much as I want that to happen, I believe that you will be proven incorrect Rubber. We keep this thread going for the duration.

Subcontinent teams can't bat in SA conditions. A few bouncers and their batting will flop.

I agree BUT watch out for their two opening bowlers. Best since Wasim and Waqar. Quick and swings the ball late. Batsmen also not bad, but also agree with previous post - their dicipline might let them down. Erfan also not the fittest.

At the least, they will give us much more of a game that those poor Kiwi's - even with Taylor and Vettori, they would still have struggled.

They were unacceptably poor were they not Frodo? I confess I was amazed at how badly they played. I expected SA to win comfortably but not to that degree. To be skittled once is embarrassing, to then be skittled again would suggest they are in serious need of not only enhancing their cricketing ability but also their strength of character. Patel's "walk-away" summed it all up for me... wtf??? :S

I at first thought this thread was going to be something to do with Fordsburg...headings can be deceptive

Give everything but up!
