What many do not digest is that, within the next 5-10 years, there will be no small-medium owner, trainer (we have already seen how the handful of ultra-rich influential owners are sending their horses with various trainers country-wide; obviously to 'win' them over like what happened with Randjies) or breeder since a handful has set its sights on dominating & swallowing up the entire industry under the ptetext of it being a sport in one breath, then protecting the ailing industry from collapse, run it as a business, then promoting transformation, etc.
The last bit is a hell of a con job which our idiotic Government is so blind to; where is even ONE BLACK AFRICAN TRAINER AFTER 18 YEARS OF THIS NEW DEMO-CRAZY?
We have a super-enriched BEE as our potential Dep. President who could bid R19-million for a (black or white?) buffalo.
Yet, when he was approached to sponsor the first post-1994 African racehorse trainer, Bhekinkosi Bulana, he never even bothered to respond! (At least my former comrade Tokyo Sexwale responded via Sello Rasethaba).
What can one expect when former comrades are now committed capitalists, former socialists now stroppy socialites and former communists now sparkling, elitist black diamonds (except Ian Jayes! Lol! (
))?
Remember the quote 'I did not join the struggle to be poor!'?
Poor me!
Which struggle was I in?

Isn't there a trainers union, you should unite in the face of that.
If every trainer threatened not to run their charges on a particular day,I'm sure they would re- instate you.

Must say 'Reading his response, anyone but Ian Jayes would really be getting a kick out of it!'
For all the nasty comments made about him, he remains stoically consistent and has not dropped to the level of his critics by being personal. Angry he is; who wouldn't be?
I would be hanging my head in shame!

How anyone can think I can be getting a kick out of what is happening to me is beyond belief. How superficial and stupid can anyone be? Try putting yourself in my position and see if you would get a kick out of it. Believe me, whatever I have done has not been for fun.
