reply to Flash Harry you are 100% correct, no bussiness re employs there are two sides to the storey but cant the man get another job he is a sad case.I am not a phumelela fan but this time they are correct , not a word from them only Mr Moosa good luck to him .Actually I found him to be the most annoying race caller there must be someone younger who wants to racecall ,why does someone not run a competition to find a new personality to call the races.and stop dwelling in the past.He is passed his sell by date.

Someone once told me he wasn't short on confidence,he thought he was better at soccer than pele and a better commentator than peter o Sullivan by 2L

I cannot understand how you were given a job as a person of colour and then after you are fired you then use race as leverage. Smiley was employed years ago as a caller and I think he may have been the first person of colour to be employed as a commentator in the then Transvaal. I really doubt race has anything to do with this - For that matter are Phumelela being sexist because they don't employ female commentators?
