The fact that local racing is failing and in a continuing downward spiral is a fact, not an opinion!

What I love is the positive people believe that failure and incompetence should be encouraged ..........the only reason local racing is surviving is due to the financial support of asset stripping("P" and "GC")..........what happens when the cupboard is bare?

Gold Circle are comfy with R400 million like it is salvation.......it is a temporary solution and even more temporary if wasted, which is the norm recently.

The even more shortsighted feel that it is OK that soccer betting is subsidising local racing..........Big business eventually disposes of loss leaders.......it is only a matter of time!

I don't think being aware of the negatives is dangerous to racing ,it is the positively ignorant and oblivious ......facts are facts!

The beauty of it all is the circus plays on and no HEADS will roll. No competition between clubs like the old days so all the eggs in one basket, a few rotten eggs too???
