I can only say this about Brandon from my limited dealings with him through Team G and what I know about him...
First off if you think Brandon is all about money maybe go visit the Kloof SPCA where you will see Brandon's name as a sponsor.
Brandon rode Dirtydealin mama for the Syndicate on her first outing where she was a boot flat footed. we got an honest opinion of the ride from Brandon which I was happy with. Brandon has then gone on to ride a 2nd and 1st for us with Snappy Lad. GREAT ride on Grays champ on July day?
Am really greatful to Brandon for the rides

Blueyonder, guys are posting their opinions. We all can agree to disagree. Me, personally I like Brandon as a jock, but only on certain courses. I frequently call some jockeys 'parachutes' cos i think they useless. That does not make them useless, it is my opinion.

Magi im sorry but this statement by Gazza earlier -

The problem is not the Bookies, the horses are backed by many but he is using the wrong Jockey. It is a known fact that Brandon does not like pressure,& he has ridden some very bad races on the beaten horses(BALSE in particular)

This is a kak opinion and shows he knows absolutely f all about racing. Anyway Brandon will be vindicated and Balse will prove that he is a moderate animal. What was so bad about Brandons ride ? wtf dont make stupid statements without giving a valid reason why it was a bad ride. You are talking kakka and need to go and learn how to read a race- i know a great optomitrist for you too

REPLAY

If it is this run then I doubt any Jock could have foreseen the finish Shekels produced. Balse was a winner with 200m to go.

Even if anyone could forsee it, what could they do? use nitrous oxide8-) I would probably never post if I was involved in the horseracing industry. Look at the cr@p that's levelled at Chippy, Craig, GavinV, ...They cannot express an opinion...if we want transparency, we must accept all of it and not be selective.

Thanks Mr. H. Two things to note from the replay :

1. Balse broke well ,was handy and then between 1200mt and 900mt lost his position ending up back near the rail. Cost it the race IMO.

2. What a commentary ! The winner you can be forgiven for thinking was scratched at the start becos only mention of the name in the last 50 mts? Never mentioned at all in running. What happened to " 2nd to last and last in the field ". Please commentators always try and call from 1st to last.

Sheldon recently has only been concentrating on a select few horses in the field.........the rest are ignored......imvho every entrant should get a mention until off course the last 200m where you focus on those with winning / place chances.
