Phenomenal; could not believe how the handicappers could penalise this filly the way they did after her first win. Very impressive win by this filly having to carry that weight. Extra Zing also won well on debut (3L) but is rated mr83 and carries 57kg??? Hope sanity prevails

how people can have a go at the handicappers about a horse that just won a HANDICAP is beyond me

that horse is clearly a feature race performer..there are a number of plate races for her to run in including a progress plate over 1160 at turffontein next month

even if she runs in a handicap she will be competitive

the problem is people see the big 92 in the MR and they off ranting and raving..what they dont understand is the weight for age allowance which means Phenomenal ran off an mr 79 today..is 79 that high for a horse that won by 5.50 beating a horse with good maiden form at that time????? absolutely not

now how can phenomenal only be giving 0.5 to maclaine if its a 92???????????
