Yip, that's the chance you take. Sometimes the race pans out well and even Anton Marcus can win:D, it's when you are baulked, or your running is taken up, or a false pace is set, that the wheat is separated from the chaff. Most times, the trainer or the stable jock/work rider, is the brains behind the win.
