Suggestion

#261389
I know that there are 1 or 2 threads about "ideas" for new bets BUT i really need the POWERS to read this suggestion:

My proposal is actually a very simple one:

PLEASE

Can we punters have the option to "select" the Official Fav as a selection on exotics (pa/jp/p6)

A simple thing really that exists in the UK and for a someone like me would be very very useful.

Hi Easy so u are requesting that the tote take the official bookies SP fav into their rules rather than the tote fav?

Or have both options?

How do they declare the Fav when they are Joint? or is it imposible to be joint favs on the tote?

Have noticed a lot that Joint favs are very rarely returned by the bookies, even sp`s changing after the off..

100% magi

its quite easy

lowest win odds
then
lowest place odds if tied for win
then
lowest racecard order (THIS SHOULD NEVER BE NEEDED BUT CAN HAPPEN)

not impossible to have joint favourites...but very rare...since our totes round down eg.A horse paying R3.30,joint favourite with B horse also paying R3.30....BUT ACTUALLY "A" HORSE IS PAYING R3.39 AFTER TAX AND 'B' HORSE paying R3.36 AFTER TAX..so "B" horse is declared tote favourite....if by some reason both are R3.36 AFTER TAX...THEN IT COMES DOWN TO PLACES

An SP can be a matter of opinion.
A tote favourite is a matter of fact.

definitely not correct Sol..they do go to % ie R2.21 and R2.24, even tho they both show R2.20 a win the horse that is paying R2.21 will be declared the TF
Give everything but up!

Easy

Some of the more seasoned punters may still remember this.

What you have proposed was previously available (about 15 to 20 years ago).

Certainly in KZN. Not sure about the others provinces.

Why doesn't the tote bring a new bet with 2 options in a race - the fav to win or the rest of the field to win? Think would do very well
