One of those FP cards I have a loathing for!!
A number of horses which look very good things but at the back of my mind I know that being Kimberley there's a fair chance none will win!
Anyway... these are the ones that to me look very good things...
R2 1 He Who Dares
R4 5 Capital Gain
R7 4 Space Girl
and these look good things...
R1 1 Born this Way
R6 3 Magnolia Park
The other races look a lot more open to me. All those already mentioned by others have definite chances and were considered but I ended up with these...
R3 1 Hand Over Fist
R5 3 The Phantom
R8 5 Night Landing
R9 8 Biasca (2 Eversoeasy is, at the moment, my only roughie bet today)
Best of luck to all (tu)

I don't play Kimberley anymore, but I happened to see Capital Gain win last time and he certainly looks underrated off MR 68 on what I saw that day.

Handicappers have him running to a 73 in his last start

That's cool 2c, thanks. But it occurs to me that it is information which should either be available to all of us, or none of us.
The National Horse Racing Authority should decide to give the RACE RATING of runners to everyone. I remember asking one of the handicappers why the race rating isn't published, and he came back to me that they (the handicappers) decided that they would not.
I am really happy that one of us has an inside track. You go for it.

Jack when i saw JAP's post i picked up the phone and called Lennon to find out whether CG did run above his rating and, if so, to what.
I DO NOT play Flamingo either so do yourself a favour and call Lennon himself on 031 314 1740, ask him the time of my call and question him as to why these hidden ratings aren't made public, remember to do it in your same sarcastic manner

Definitively not a dig at you. This merely highlights that they are cagey with the ratings of our horses. It's weird they want to keep it a secret.
Very few horses actually run their ratings in a race as you know. So that means in every race there are horses running below their ratings.
Imagine how useful it would be to see the ratings horses achieve over certain distances and on different going etc.
It's a poor show when we (and this time it was you) have to each call every time we want to know.
It then begs the question, are we allowed to know? Or does every individual each have to make a call for the list of horses they would particularly like to know? The sarcasm comes from the fact that when I asked, I was told it's not public information, yet you have it.
I do remember that I didn't ask them in a sarcastic manner, but I think I spoke to Ryan at the time and told him it was a f$%^& disgrace and they were chicken shit cowards not to show us the real ratings and when and how horses get dropped. On rethinking the issue, I still think so.
