Interesting. I always thought that it was or is municipal land leesed to GC. Perfect site for some low cost housing and would fit perfectly with governments spacial reengineering program of mixing rich, middle class and poor together. They would need the golf course too for this to work.
Jumping the gun a bit I suppose, could very well just be a business deal but it if it s true it has to beg the question why GC never put in an offer on the site?
We could be running the Durban July at Scottsville in years to come!

AL is correct. Greyville and Scottsville leased from Municipality {99 year?}.
Surely Clairwood Park should have been the intended target?

If this is the same Phindi Kema that was going to have a R25million race in Plett or was going to buy Arlington for R50mil then I think the chances of Greyville changing hands are nul and this is just another one of her pipe dreams...a lot of talk and zero action
