I also like the card - go Laurel you biscuit - and to follow a nice double with Silver Specialist - or what say you, Elvis?

Although Sayadaw is not better off with Mr. Tobin I still hold a candle in the wind for this boy. He will be running at them. Hopefully there is a decent gallop on for him to run at. Go Sayadaw!!

All the best to Frodo and elvis with their runners!

Will be keeping the powder dry for the July.

Still can't deposit money into my account though........schmucks!!! ;)

Statistical analysis of draw data is at present a grey area.
In fact results over the last 2 months for the 1200m + 1450m show them to be totally contrary to historical patterns that have prevailed since racing was first held at the Vaal Sand track.
However, on closer examination, it can be argued that in a number of these races a lot of the ‘main contenders’ were drawn high and the ‘better drawn’ opposition was rather weak.

No sitting on the fence here today, even with the smaller fields.

The most confident selection looks to be Cold Approach who is rated 5 lengths superior to Lecture Queen, who in turn is rated 3.5 lengths superior to Rooi Nooi.
Anything close to his first run on sand makes the 8/10 on CA look good value.

Atalaya, in race 2, is a concern. Well drawn from a stable in good form against weak opposition…yet no previous sand form.
