Red Noses for the Clowns

Each one of our SA industry members in a position of control have earned a bright big red nose for the amazing ability to behave stupidly for extended periods of time beyond the norm,,,

not even the law of averages can level out the amount of short-sightedness they possess,, greed and stubbornness reign supreme in SA horseracing,,,

Formgrids is the website face of South African horseracing's form, cards and results, and whether they like it or not it keeps the SA racing online experience in line with international racing websites like UK's Racingpost and HK's Hongkong jockeyclub website,,

other countries hosting their international websites have the sense to pump huge volumes of cash and support into their sites constantly improving the racing customers experience,, the management responsible in those countries can hold their heads up high as far as pride goes, yet our SA racing management structure should bury their heads in shame, watching a working class individual struggle to maintain Formgrids and refusing to lift a finger to help,, yes i will maintain SA's form flagship, but I record today and dare anyone to contradict me that the SA racing industry has never been run by a poorer bunch since its inception

Won't get any argument from me...............but
The other day there were 18 meetings available for betting on Saftote, only 2 of which were local...............considering the fact that they were the meetings with expenses you can understand why they would not wish to incur costs,so what is far more concerning is the complete apathy of the stakeholders of local racing whose futures rely on its success.............they should be rescuing it from the clutches of "P" before it is too late and the asset stripping leaves the cupboard completely bare.
"P" are acting in the best interests of shareholders for which you can't really blame them.............letting it destroy the local product is the crime!

Perpetual devotion to what a man calls his business, is only to be sustained by perpetual neglect of many other things. :(

seven years ago we gave the SA racing industry a world class website to promote and show our countries racing here and abroad,, we were way ahead of the rest of the racing nations,, best of all we gave it free to all to help build turnover for the game,, Phumelela benefits from our labour,, ,, I can only wonder WHY there is no pride in developing this SA product ,,,, where are all these hypocrites that shout the loudest about developing all aspects of the game,,, they are all there to fill their own pockets,,, I call them all clowns,,, one can only wonder what would have happened to Formgrids if we never had this pathetic bunch in charge of SA racing

It has been mentioned before mrA. Why don't you target the American market ? You labor for the love of the game yet at the end your frustration takes over . Your product will be such a hit in the USA , you have no idea . You would be approached almost instantly by the industry to further develop your product . How long can you take this ignorant soul destroying stance of the Sa operators . I admire your patience with these people .

If formgrids was mine i would have jumped ship loooong ago .

Mister A,

Instead of bashing your head with the establishment(which is clearly not going to work),it is time you started charging for your site.Free is great, but I can assure you that everyone that I have spoken to who uses your site would definitely pay to use it.It is not a tipping service,it is a self-help service which is obviously invaluable to form studiers.Computaforms cost over R800 a month now if one is buying for all the centres,so a subscription of R150 or R200 per customer would go a long way to covering your overheads I'm sure.

Internet penetration levels are gaining momentum in SA now,imo you'd be crazy not to charge.
