I cant see Jackson winning.. the way he ran last time i am beginning to wonder if he is suited to Greyville. I know there was other factors etc but just have a feeling he won't do it.

Dubai Gina will have come on from her last run and she's the one to give them a go in the Woolavington.

i thought Jackson ran a cracker last time .
He should win that after his good last run .
It might be too sharp for Vettel, he could be running on well though .

also thought jackson ran a cracker..i dont think greyville will be his best course but i think last time was more the 1600m than the course..and lets remember he did beat the whole field except the best miler we have seen in a while

I have only joined the "clan" today, thanks for the interesting views posted. Can anyone comment on the consequences (going into the July) should Ilha Bela win the Woolavington, say by 1 length? Is it a given her MR will be raised?

Welcome Bayern, as the race is run at at fixed weights and Ilha Bela has joint top MR if she wins she may not incur a penalty depending on the horses that run around her and how she wins. Jackson could win pretty much as he likes without incurring a penalty. As the minimum weight for 3 year old fillies for the July is 52kg and Jackson is a 116 that will carry a maximum 57kg at 104 she would be 2 pounds under sufferance in the July so if she won and incurred a 2 point penalty and Jackson stays the same her weight will still unchanged as far as I see it.

What are the chances Ilha Bela is better than rated, reason i ask, after her last victory, MDK pointed out how stiff she was not to have won the Triple Tiara, 0.05 lengths behind Go Indigo in the Fillies Guineas and 0.25 behind Bambina Stripes in the SA Fillies Classic.
