Vee has the correct idea with the Jackpot no couplings - Do that to the P6 and you will have a Superbet with end of month carryovers that must be won (five legs takes all)

here is my suggestion for a SUPER P6
If you have 2 meetings on one day you take a bet where you take a P6 on both meetings, no couplings , make the beta 10c unit with say min R20 NO COUPLINGS , NO FIRST TIME RULE ETC. and it keeps on carryover till it is won!

imagine trying to catch a P6 that is worth R10-15m I will rather take my chances with this bet than play the Lotto, which I am not,

Good suggestion, James.Must be 10 cents as u stated. Also Vee Moodley, Stuart and co. what about reviving the Superfecta. In the past this was available on certain races only in Tvl Tote but it was one that challenged your brain to select rite thru to sixth place. With the 10 cent unit it was affordable and most often yielded good dividends wth carryovers also.Bring it back please!

I know this suggestion is open to manipulation by administrators but hey this is a discussion forum.

I feel a little upset that there is no big Pick 6 carryover going into tomorrow's great sprint meeting at Scottsville. Can they not take say 25% of all Pick 6 carryovers throughout the season, split into 1/5 and allocate each to the 5 big meetings thus guaranteeing a little something extra in the pot. i.e. 20% of the pot split onto Durban July, Met, Summer Cup, Sprint Day and Champions Day. They can ringfence bank account and can even collect on interest income if they wish.

As stated above this is open to manipulation of funds, but operator earns interest and punter is guaranteed some form of carryover into the Pick6 pot on SA's major race days. Won't get started on the Phum / Tabgold arm-wrestling of who gets what, but could be a win-win for both punter and operator.

Anybody know if they skim off 25% again on carry over amounts, or does the carry over go straight to the nett pool?

The next pool is taxed and then the carry over is added...
