I know sarcasm is the lowest form of wit, etc., but my word am I tempted or what? One sixth of my screen for one of the great races of the year, the 2000 Guineas, the rest devoted (and I mean, Devoted) to odds and tips and a fascinating look at the canter down for a wokriders MR 78 at Greyville.
I have a large TV but it was impossible to see what was going on. Why bother to show the 2000 Guineas at all? The horses are dots, the jocks' colours are indecipherable. Good thing I wasn't betting ... watching would just be an exercise in frustration ... the coverage was no sort of pleasure, TT. You can be sure I won't be tempted to place a bet on the next big race that comes along, based on this sort of viewing experience.
TT, you have such a sense of occasion, of the importance of the big occasion. Like one of your ads says, "We lead, others follow". You may be leading but is anyone following? Or have they all gone off to watch rugby or cricket?

Sure they will Bob and pretty sure the guy pushing the buttons will be given some background on the difference between an English classic and a work riders race canter past
