Do we have another star Bob? How did she compare with Frankels win ? Understand going a factor but great to have Camelot and a great filly this year from a strong stable to add a bit more spice.

Local Celebity and Dr Machini both won.
Was told the 4/9 Chrysanthemum wouldnt win today,so looking at the race Zaminast seemed the
obvious selection.Chrysanthemum was unplaced, but so was Zaminast.
If The Pounds wins it should be profitable

Doubt it! That was her 14th race already, which is ridiculous for a Guineas horse. Only her fourth win, I think she just relished the condtions. As surprising a winner as you'll find in my book, not much in her previous 13 races to suggest she would be beating the likes of Maybe, Mashoora, Discourse, Moonstone Magic, La Collina etc... today.

Homecoming Queen blitzes Guineas rivals
BY STUART RILEY 3:45PM 6 MAY 2012
Report: Newmarket, Sunday
Qipco 1,000 Guineas Stakes (British Champions Series) (Group 1) 1m, 3yo fillies only
HOMECOMING QUEEN was a surprise winner of the 1,000 Guineas, with the 25-1 shot jumping prominently and leading from start to finish to rout her rivals by nine lengths.
The winning distance was the second biggest in 1,000 Guineas history as Homecoming Queen, having her 14th start, put her experience to good use to cap a remarkable weekend for trainer Aidan O'Brien, who on the 2,000 Guineas on Saturday with Camelot.
Whereas Camelot sliced through the pack, Homecoming Queen lead throughout, travelling strongly a length or two clear of the field in the early stages before pulling away in emphatic fashion when asked for her effort.
"I thought I was going a stride to quickly," said winning jockey Ryan Moore. "Aidan had her very fit and well, she just kept going for me. There's not much of her, but she tries very hard."
There was drama before the start, with Gray Pearl getting trapped under the stalls, delaying the start of the race by almost half an hour.
But once the stalls opened only one horse was ever in contention with Homecoming Queen blitzing her rivals from the start. Starscope stayed on for second at 33-1, with favourite Maybe third.
O'Brien said of the winner: "She's a hardy, tough filly who improved a ton from her first race to hersecond this season. She's got a great pedigree as a sister to Dylan Thomas who progressed and progressed."
