greg cheyne,mark lifman and yuri"the russian"

Just read the morgenrood interview in sportingpost,he says that greg cheyne introduced him to mark lifman and yuri the russian, both these guys threatened morgenroods life and that of his family if he did not pull a horse

So what was cheyne doing with these two criminals and which other jocks have these 2 got to?

Anybody know?

To be fair this happened years ago when they were young.

They did the time, so to speak, and at some point you move on.

The clean part comes from the fact that the whole thing was exposed and dealt with. There will always be people who want to tilt things into their favour, and there will (hopefully) always be people who try to stop them.

I think clean means that we don't hide corruption and we try to cut it out, clean does not mean that we live in a fantasy world where no one tries to cheat. It's a grown up and hard world, best you face it or go do something else ffs.

There are 2 different strategies on cheating.......the banks way, whose strategy is that if no dishonesty of staff is exposed, the public will believe it doesn't exist ...........................................or the alternative which is to show visible policing and to punish appropriately.
Racing needs the second,because few will be fooled by the first.
As Jack says,detecting and acting on attempts at cheating is much more credible than pretending it doesn't exist.

Yuri got drilled about 20x in 2007 so thats 1 less we have to worry about
