Many believe that the best progress racing could make is for it to become a more trusted product.
Whilst this chapter may well be closed,it is surely very important to portray a perception that there is an ongoing fight to avoid any other activities of this nature.
Nobody is going to believe that this was a "one-off" and nothing untoward has happened before, or since,and pretending it is, will be treated with suspicion.
What racing IS, is not nearly as important as what people THINK racing is!
