I made a comment about a jockey who has been fined more then once and I am the doos (which I probably am) but why do most people on this forum always defend players in the racing industry?

I remember a few days back there was a thread about MDK's early career and someone said that he got a few lucky breaks and many jumped on the bandwagon of hero worshipping MDK and saying that there was no luck involved but rather divine intervention and that MDK is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Its ok to say that Teletrack makes a lot of mistakes, Rod McCurdy has never correctly predicted a P/A and racing is in trouble but as soon as a well known figure is personally attacked, well, if you read the last few posts since I called someones mother a name, most develop a syndrome similar to sheep and huddle together to vanquish the intruder.

This is a forum for opinions some good some bad some silly but if we all had the same ones, in every race one horse would go off at 1/1 and the rest at hundreds

The thing is, anyone can make a mistake or an accident. Yes, sometimes a jockey does do it when he is not supposed to ( like when he is misusing his crop on a horse that has no way of running a place) What about a jockey that striked another jock during a race? That you can still say was done on purpose...

I think it's perfectly acceptable for jockeys to hit each other during a race lol

As I have said many times "we don't write the scripts" we don't have "secret clan meetings" we supply an open 24/7 forum for members (using a very basic entry to join) I get many complaints from the racing industry about various comments on this site and I quote the same as above.

I normally say "they are your potential customers, not mine".

I feel we make a contribution to racing but we remain "outlawed" by most of the established racing industry and I work hard trying to change this "stigma", problem is I am getting old and tired.

When was the last time you heard the name ABC mentioned on tellytrack? I have had a few meeting to try and change this situation and at this stage trying to make progress, but considering my post above it has not been easy as we remain a "pain" for lack of a better word to the racing operators.

Just to add, we have many great contributions to racing on this site, however it's the bad ones that appear to get more press, such is life.
