Each day a lady gets the elevator from the 12th floor to ground level
so she can go to work. When she comes home however, she only goes
up in the elevator to level 8. Why is this ? and its not to keep fit.

She is a dwarf and can only reach the 8th floor button unless there are other people in the lift so she can ask them to press the 12th floor button

An archaeologist found a Roman coin with Julius Caesar's head on it with the inscription in the vernacular "died 44 BC". The acheologist knew it was a fake and threw it away. How did he know it was a fake?

the coin would not have been inscripted in English but in Roman
no i got it wrong as by you stating in the vernacular you obviously meant in the Roman language

Ugh, I think I cocked it up. What I meant to say is that the coin was minted in 44 BC but lets assume still after Caesar's death.

The minters could not have known about Christ at that time thus they would not have inscripted "44 BC" on the coin Therefore it would have to have been somebody who had minted the coin way after.
