Think again its all in the mind (
), having a cracker day today....2 x 2nds one of which was BC in the last and 3 winners. Lets hope its gonna continue (tu)

Value is EVERYTHING in any sort of betting venture. All of us would prefer a 8-10 winner over a 12-1 loser. The fact is hovever, that your 8-10 has to win 60% of the time and in general they win less than 50% of the time. On the other hand your 12-1 shots only need to win 10% of the time in order for you to show a profit. Of course a 8-10 shot can also be concidered a value bet if you make him a legitimate 6-10.

GB, much better, first wasn't fancied and was pulled up, the other two were fancied and both finished 2nd. Not great of course but an indication that stable may be recovering. Trainer did say if the stable was firing he would have been hopeful of both winning but with the recent problems it was a case of watching brief. Think he will have been heartebed.
