This may be a small cup, but I think its a great load of Liverpool's shoulders as they have ended the cup drought.
It was a hard fought match and Liverpool will need to really improve at the speed of knots..

But I say it here right on ABC "NOW FOR THE FA CUP"....

Very exciting match, Cardiff played their hearts out, felt sorry for them after the game.

The best thing about this victory is that come the end of the year Liverpool will have atleast one more major trophy than Man United.

I am not a Man United fan but as I know not one of their deluded fans that frequent these pages will not congraulate Liverpool on their Cup win let me on their behalf of those bitter United fans say well done on winning the Cup. Its one cup more then United will win this season.

Spurs or Chelsea will take the FA Cup. Liverpool not good enough to beat Cardiff over 120 minutes were very lucky to win the penalty shoot out as their goalkeeper moved yards off his line everytime a Cardiff player took a kick

Liverpool play much better against bigger opposition..that's a fact..
Look at the record this season.. Knocked Man City out of Carling Cup fair and square..
And knocked Man Untd out of FA cup..Chelsea imho no chance too much going on with Manager and players,etc..only danger to Liverpool is Spurs..but Spurs need to get around Stevenage replay(should beat em) but you never know

CC which game were you watching? Pool were clearly in charge throughout. 2 clear penalties not given, coming from behind, 18 corners to 3, and the 3 coming late in extra time. Hats off to Cardiff for pushing an at times nervous looking Pool side, but Pool clearly deserved to win that one

Chicken,Reina didnt save 1 penalty.Moving off his line is a mute argument

Liverpool were a good bet for this comp,right from day one when they put a full team out against Exeter,this showed they meant business,not like the rest of the epl mongrels
