Quick poll, which sport type offers the best opportunity to make money by betting it?

I've never really gone into sport betting in a big way as my first love is the gg's. But it is a fool's game for most. Dodgey form turnarounds, different surfaces and conditions and dozens of possible excuses for loosing horses by jockey's and trainer's. And off course the tax on horse racing bets also count against it. So as a guess I would have to possibly say rugby, either provincial or international where it is less likely that the games will be fixed and form is more reliable. Also draws are a smaller possibilty than in soccer games. Cricket has a terrible history of match fixing. I'm sure though that in all of these sports the markets are very effecient though. So if I had to vote, my vote goes to rugby, what's your vote?

That sport which presents the lowest bookie's margins. I think they are all the same...

t 20...but bets must be in running.......huge swings..in betting....i remember in ipl matches...i often average around 18/10.or 2/1....and at the end of the match i dont care who wins....its the easiest book to make

i always look forward to tennis...odds are short...but normally form holds...and i see most bookies ...offer a no bet on any retirements....which is in my favour

I believe you can make money on just about any sport if you know your stuff,study hard and have iron dissipline and good money management. I know zip about soccer so I leave it alone. In Rugby your best bets will be found in the lower divisions(I suspect that holds true for soccer and most other sports). Bookies have a good handle on the big tournaments (6 Nations, S15 etc.) but often they are not as clued up on the lesser teams. If you know your stuff there is money to be made in the lower divisions ( For instance the "B" division of the Curriecup). My guess is that there would be plenty opportunities in the lower divisions of UK football for instance
