U misunderstood what I meant...can the owner force Snaith to put Fourie up.....I know there are horses in that yard he would love to ride and the owner ok for him to ride but......

The owner can insist I suppose, but equally the trainer has the right (subject to any contractuakl obligations) to tell him to take his horse/s elsewhere. I can't believe that a professional outfit like Snaith racing would ever let it get to that, though.

If the owner insists on a certain jockey against the trainers wishes, is he not saying is he not saying the jockey is more important than the trainer?

If there is a selection, might the trainer not ask the owner which he prefers? Maybe only if he's more important than other owners?

I cant see any owner insisting that Richard rides their horse if it is with Snaith Racing given the current situation...
