I sent them a response as requested.....it would be sad if "P" destroyed Computaform as they have our racecourses......they are a joke!

Computaform does not show pedigree detail, something so crucial yet its nowhere is the "premier racing publication" amazes me. its all good to know the sire of a horse is Silvano for instance but that tells me nothing if I don't know what Silvano is capable of. am I missing something?
I'm getting more and more disappointed with Formgrids i think it has too many errors, like times missing, wrong times added, runs missing, invalid runs added to a horse and then they do not show the MR column on the card.

Re: Re: Computerform

my top choice is computaform.
The grid which shows the runners position from the 800 to the finish is a big help to me .
If winning form had that and the collateral fofm section i would take it any day .
The only winning form i buy is kimberly because computaform dont show the position of runners from the 800 to the finish like the other centres.
Also as noted by blueyonder, my eyesight isn't getting better so the bigger size font in computaform another positive as opposed to winning form.

Computerform is always my first choice for studying form. Unfortunatly it costs to much to buy on a daily basis.
If they dropped the cost to R14/R15 id buy 5 a week. Where as now i purchase maybe one a month(on big race days or if im going to be on course).
I know nothing about printing costs, and not sure whether its viable for them or not, but in my mind if they dropped the price, computerform sales could increase ten fold. R25 is steep for a magazine that lasts one day, and that you need almost every day.

they should hand over computaform to owen heffer and winning form really leave it to the pros instead of fcuking up another racing jewel .....mediocrity continues...you want to cut costs get rid off the glossy covers and those idiots who write the race summarys

And you can expect a price increase during the first quarter of next year, paper prices have gone up already...:X
unless of course they bought there paper for next years runs now... that would of been the smart thing to do....
