Jeepers I really didnt know that they were considering cutting Computerform or Computeroffform..if they do that I can tell you one thing for absolute certainty..punting will drop.especially the big punters..the turnover will decline.

Pirates,I sent in my views as they requested,and like you,I believe that being in the hands of good management will allow it to survive and I suggested selling it,or at worst,outsourcing it's management to professionals.
Computaform made the previous owners very wealthy.......it takes "P" to bankrupt it.

Does computaform make comments on the horses last run,like hampered 200 out etc? something that if formgrids implemented would be ideal..

Yes Hibs it must be one of the better race forms in the world...I honestly cannot believe that this is something they will cut..its as much a part of horseracing as all our previous racing legends..that would be one of the very last straws..why not just can the totes whilst they about it..one thing I am sure they teach at business schools is that many a company has gone out of business profitabally ie cut everything at the expense of growth!

Computuform is huge for decision making. No other publication give as much information for me. I subscribe on line and it last cost me R300 for the year I see it is now R450 which is still great value IMO.

i prefer the printed version as i can spend hours reading it . I scribble all over it etc. cant do that on the computer screen !

Pk yes at one stage i printed it . Just becomes too much work . First i used to staple it together then i used those long plastic clamp goodies . It just becomes too labourious .
