Very stiff task, just pleased he could get a run with the next suitable race for him being on the 10th December. He is doing very well and is coming back to his best and we would be happy if he could run into the back end of the quartets. We are hoping to get his MR up a bit as there are so few distance races with a higher MR we can get into the MR80 races.

Suppose if they could not have Quarantine rules etc, our Sakkie Sakkie rode on the 29th-Oct.
Makes interesting reading though that Singapore disclaimer mentions "There are no performance records as this horse has not raced in Singapore and Malaysia before"

Sakkie Sakkie is definitely not a South African bred. He's an American bred horse by All Chatter whose name was changed from 'Now you're talking' to Sakkie Sakkie. The owners weren't around for me to ask them where they found this name but will let you know if I manage to find out.
There was great racing last night and we saw the two best horses in Singapore. Yes Rocket Man did it again and hope that he suffered no ill effects from jumping the shadow. Super Easy who won the E W Barker making it 5 from 5 is a star in the making. He is what you would describe as an 'exciting horse'.
Tomorrow is the Longines Singapore Gold Cup but the 12 race card has some very interesting racing. Selecting a winner in the Gold Cup is not an easy task but SA has a representative in Lizarre (Barend Vorster). Race is run at 11h55 SA time.
Happy racing!
