wrong odds..

as a punter, what is the correct thing to do if you find a bet priced up wrongly....in this instance its in favour of the punter.....
its for today...
do you take the bet....
will they pay out if its a winning bet.....

i would like to know.... if after i have taken the bet...they change the odds..... does my bet stand with the initiall odds or is it adjusted to the new odds

If it's an obvious mistake, you are at risk that if it loses you will do your money and if it wins they might not pay.
The next debate becomes about what is an "obvious" mistake.
You should try to deal with honourable companies, and you should be honourable and not expect to profit from a genuine mistake.

Mistakes happen,if you ran a store and you priced a tv up at $109 instead of $1009 would you sell it to the customer?

Pick n Pay has a policy that if an article is priced wrongly you get it for free. Or if it is priced lower then you get it at the lower price.

usually I would say that you should do the honourable thing..... but after reading the Jack Dash thread .....perhaps not !!

In SA the consumer will have a strong case against the store, so yes they are bound to sell the tv at the advertised price....
