Cape Town - A betting agent was on Wednesday found guilty of assault for spilling his drink on President Jacob Zuma at the Vodacom Durban July last year.
Daryl Peense confirmed to News24 that he was found guilty but was not yet sentenced.
Peense said that the court did not want to give him bail and wanted to keep him in custody but after much wrangling it was eventually decided that he would get bail.

What a joke! Zuma did not even know about the incident. All these other criminal fuckers walk the streets, murderers get released because of overflowing jails, whatever!

Listening the story on SAFM, they reported that the judge based his decision on the apparent fact that Pense ducked into the crowed following the "deliberate /accidental" spillage.

26 July 2011 - Gary Immelman, 55, of Vereeniging, miraculously survives five shots by five black men in cop-uniforms
A gang of NINE black men wearing police uniforms and driving an Audi with police lights on, have shot and injured Vereeniging businessman Gary Immelman, 55, with five shots outside his home in Vereeniging. Vereeniging police capt Shado Mashobane said: "we think that they might be reservists, but we need to investigate further." The gang of nine men shot 55-year-old Gary Immelman in his chest, abdomen and limbs on Monday. The Beeld reported that the men forced their way into the house, and attempted to blow up a safe while Immelman was out. His wife, who was home at the time, activated the alarm. Immelman rushed home and found the Audi outside. The occupants then opened fire on him, the newspaper reported.Five of the men escaped during a shootout which then followed with police. Mashobane said Immelman was in a stable condition at Union Hospital in Alberton
So much for water on ZuZu.

@Umlilo - I am sure you have heard of lead by example - Our leaders have taught us when in trouble, Lie, Lie, Lie, Deny, Deny, Deny! We live in a morally corrupt society where no one will accept responsibility an be accountable for their actions. This has become an acceptable norm in our society.
Our leaders, whether they be in government or some in the private sector are what taxi drivers are to our road rules. They operate in a space defined by themselves and there are no checks and balances (morally and in the conciousness of the individuals) to make a difference.
