Hi Guys,
Feature Race Selections?
Daily News 2000 : Run for It
Lonsdale Stirrup: Paddy O' Reilly
Woolvington: Berry Blaze, to put Igugu in her place-This is Durban Whooohooooo
Rising Sun Challenge: Bravura
Vodacom July: Bravura/Run for It to fight it out.....No Igugu
<
Past Vodacom July Winners
Eye of the Tiger : From CPT
Pocket Power: From CPT
Dancers Daughter: From CPT
Big City Life: From CPT
Bold Silvano: From PE
So guys altitude really plays a big role here
Its either going to Snaith or Ramsden!!! Will never take a bet on Igugu to win the Vodacom July, because all she as ever done is race within her age and come this Saturday she will be racing out of her age but still with fillys and mares. Very hard to even consider her winning the Vodacom July based on her prep work. Any ways that is just my opinion
Comments welcome

Tamarillo x Igugu x Run For It.
This is Durban, not the effing Vaal. We've still got half a chance here, at least in season.

In the Lonsdale doesn't Tamarillo have a chance at the weights?

The Lonsdale is very open as the betting suggest, but I don't think Esteco is any value at all (confusing jockey arrangements here - Delpech rides for Tarry and Shea for van Zyl?) Not a lot between In Writing, Paddy o' Reilly (my Charity horse) and Golden Parachute - I think Tamarillo is flattered by his last run in a slow run race so for a lunatic trifecta and quartet inclusion have a look at Bouquet-Garni - on their last run, there is not a lot between him and Esteco - yet BG is 50/1 and Esteco is the favorite?
Igugu the obvious one in the Woolavington - not sure about Berry Blaze and I think Emerald Cove could turn the tables on her
Cracking field in the Daily News - let's hope it is a trouble free race - the pace and tactics will play a big role in the outcome imo - purely on the Cape Derby form English Garden could be the right one but even Gold Onyx rates a chance here on his last run behind M'lords Throat

Well just to add the confusion in the Lonsdale, I see Billy Jacobson:S now gets the ride on Esteco, with Muzi deserting him (and also losing the de Kock ride in the first) - then Paddy o Reilly gets scratched - leaving Anton without a ride - will we see a late replacement on Esteco?
Just a slight amendment to my views on the Daily News - Justin ultra confident, and a 3rd in the Met is probably better form than placing in the Cape Derby - so Run For It looks the right one, but if the short straight finds him out, most of the others can pick up the spoils - so perhaps the right strategy in the P6 is to take 2 of them - go wide in the one and bank the Snaith coupling in the other (or alternative take a JP with only the 2 Snaith runners in this leg)?
