Igugu to honour Sadler`s Wells

The passing of a legend will be honoured when his grandson Frankel wins the Guineas at Newmarket this weekend and Igugu does the double in the Oaks.

The legend is probably responsible for the world realising the importance of breeding to genetic siblings.
In his case, the most potent cross with multiple Gr1 winners was with Mill Reef, Shirley Heights and Riverman mares .
Lalun's sons Never Bend and Bold Reason are the cause here.

In South Africa, his sons have produced July winners like Big City Life which can be attributed to the cross of Special and Thatch and Hunting Tower might be to line breeding to Hail to Reason.

We should be excited with new stallions with Sadler's Wells in their dam side as it gives so many possibilities with the likes of Daylami, Melun, In the Wings, Golden thatch, Waterville Lake, Var and of course all the Sadler's Wells and sons of Fairy king too.

Dupont is beginning to show his worth, as will Imperial stride .
