Big storm on the East Rand, anyone got a weather update @ Turffontein?

Been told a light shower took place for 10 min or so and there is a very light drizzle now .

ok ,apart from the punting side, have had a rough spell and it will take a lot of time and discipline to recover .

Ant, I have taken a break now for about 3 weeks now and I'm loving it. Nothing better than having no pressure on selections and on making some tom.

I don't believe anyone can back winner after winner week in and week out. It just does not happen. I'm not sure if this even helps and I know each person is unique and will do whatever is right for them, but sometimes taking a step back and reassessing is not a bad thing?

I have rather been taking two bets a day on the golf for the past two days and I have a 100% record so far. Shorter odds but I'm enjoying the golf far more right now!

I learnt the very hard way ant . Had to take a break for almost a 1yr from racing . These days I play with a budget . Every week is different but I seem to be much more disciplined now and manage my wins and losses much better . Take a good break and re-think your strategy buddy .
