Classic Lecture
14 years 4 months ago
We have just seen on "scotfree" that Titch was very upset with Brandons ride on Classic Lecture on Friday. He wasnt the only one to go out of PA's etc. We tried to register there but are waiting to be accepted.
This is to let you all know that Classic Lecture fractured his knee so badly in the race that he will never race again. We are extremely grateful to Brandon that he managed to keep Classic up and fairly straight in what turned out to be his last race.
Always easy to talk from your pocket without knowing the full story.
We are very sad to loose a horse of this quality as we always felt he could go to the top.

I'm so, so, so sorry for your loss guys. It is never easy losing any horse to injury, but losing a top class horse is even worse!!!! We lost a champion filly in the early 90's who was rumoured to be beating Tommy Hotspur in the gallops. She won 3 from 4 and in her 4th also fractured her knee. She never raced again!!!
Please keep your chins up and continue to do the best you can!
We certainly appreciate your hard work and open remarks about your runners!!
Once again very sorry for your loss.

Bad luck guys. A great pity because we never really found out how good he was. Comes with the territory, I guess.
