Race 1: Effective Power put up a decent first run, BUT there are 2 very well bred first times Chateau Royal and Lake Arthur making their debuts, winner should come from any of these three.
Race 2: Here I fancy the 2 Hodgson stable mates, Gorgeous Al (bad draw to overcome) and Elsabee.
Race 3: Spanish Affair coming on the right way, hard to oppose imo, Marching Song, Kwaheri, Chesalon and Wooden Count to fill the minor places.
Race 4: Might well be a Kannemeyer double, Cypress Point has won his last 2 races quite convincingly... Only Foreign Sovereign can trouble him imo.
Race 5: Tough race, can make a case for most of this field, go wide in exotics.
Race 6: 3 Year olds look top class this season, expect Run for it and M'Lords Throat to be in the shake-up. Out of the older horses In Writing should be back to full fitness and for a bit of a roughie including Forest of Dean.
Race 7: Competitive F&M Handicap.... Can't single out anything here??
Race 8: Six to Six has got Mastery beat on there run behind Kayhaladin, sneaker may be the other Piet Steyn runner Hasseldon who comes back down to the minimum distance where he broke his maiden.

You don't think In Writing and Forest of Dean have him beat at the weights?

casks last race was run into a howling headwind and some horses never got cover so dont be surprized if the form of that race is turned upside down tomorow

I am going to take a stance that I would prefer to see more proof of the 3 year olds against older opposition before I take the short prices on offer about Run for it and M'lords Throat. They may turn out to be top class but not for me tomorrow.
I think fort Vogue is decent E/W value!
Prepare the egg, my face is coming

How would you like your egg, sir? Scrambled? Poached? Sunny side up?
Seriously, those two 3yos are very hard to assess, but I think the 3yo form could be strong enough for the older horses and I make M'Lords Throat the one to beat at the weights. It is a very competitive race, though. Even Paddy O'Reilly, if he found his best form, would have a shout of springing a surprise and I thought he showed some glimpses of coming to hand last time out behind Cask.
Today I like Spanish Affair (best bet), Cypress Point (looks a boat race with Foreign Sovereign), Eslabee, Christina (could be improving and well handicapped) and a real lunatic to end off the day - Ships Master. Back over 1000m and running in a very ordinary field, I think he could be an e/w tickle in a race where if I was running in the PA I'd want to have a whole bunch of horses.(
