At C 'n C - a nice synopsis from Dr Alan Pringle. Rivalries stem from the more equality of each other.

And it might, just might, be a play-off between the two. Oh Sh*t.

That's why the Liverpool - Man United rivalry and not as much of a Man City - Man Utd rivalry...Man Utd achievements over the past 20 years have meant that Man City weren't achieving anything comparable to be a serious rival so Man Utd have gone further done the road to Liverpool for some-one to compete with and emulate...

there are some pretty fierce rivalries in English football but nothing compared to the Turkish league, Argentina and Brazilian leagues. Now that is something else.

This summer there have been several interesting wholesale changes at Forest, both on and off the pitch, but one signing really intrigues me - the signing of a young Spanish defender Roger Riera on a free transfer from Barcelona. The 19 year-old skippered the side which won the UEFA Youth Champions League title last term.
Why would Roger want to go to Forest?
And why would Barca free a seemingly talented youngster on a freebie?

Cribbed from TeamTalk "The Sky Bet Championship is often overlooked for the glamour and glitz of the Premier League, but there's much to be celebrated in the second tier..." as
Nottingham Forest v Derby County: one of football's greatest rivalry matches for the hatred of each other.
Dont miss the action today (Sunday) live on Supersport 4 14h00.
