Race 4 fixed how can the starter let the fav go before he let down his flag? The horse had 8 lengths on the rest.

Yesterday at Limerick samething. The 125/1 shot got a headstart about 8 lenghts. Ended up winning after building up a huge lead and then coming back to them but still held on with something in hand.
