For the BBC sports personality of the year vs Stuart Broad, Tyson Fury, Lewis Hamilton, Jordan Henderson, Ronnie O’Sullivan (snooker).

Well done Hollie and well deserved, good for the Sport of Kings (Queens)
Hamilton will probably win it and will be a short priced fav but not my favourite “personally “

Hollie Doyle could yet scoop more prestigious prizes as she leads the nominees for the 2020 Lesters Awards with four nominations, including for Flat Jockey of the Year alongside her partner Tom Marquand, champion jockey Oisin Murphy and William Buick.
Doyle, recently named Sunday Times Sportswoman of the Year and shortlisted for BBC Sports Personality of the Year, is also nominated for Female Jockey of the Year – an award she won in 2019.
The trailblazing jockey is also in contention for the Flat Jockey Special Recognition award and Flat Ride of the Year for her maiden Group 1 success aboard Glen Shiel on British Champions Day.

They say that horseracing in the UK is the 2nd highest spectator sport behind football. Now, that as Hamilton is not a footballer, would that make the bookies’ odds of 20/1 on Hollie perceive to have value?

If not mistaken the awards tonight
Possible good news is that Hollie has been punted from 20/1 to 4/1 to beat Hamilton
Go Hollie 🥇

Hollie Doyle was hailed as 'top class' by her racing colleagues and legends of the sport as the record-breaking jockey finished an honourable third in the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award.
Despite enjoying unprecedented levels of success during the year, Doyle was unable to land one of sport's most prestigious prizes against some of Britain's greatest sportspeople for the award, which was won by formula one driver Lewis Hamilton for the second time with Liverpool Football Club captain Jordan Henderson in second place.
AP McCoy remains the only jockey to have won Sports Personality of the Year since it was launched in 1954, but Doyle matched the feat of the 20-time champion jump jockey and Frankie Dettori in finishing in the top three, which McCoy did in 2013 and 2002 while Dettori was honoured in that spot following his 'Magnificent Seven' in 1996.
The 24-year-old may have tasted defeat, but her trailblazing records and achievements from this year were recognised by her racing colleagues and the legendary McCoy, who believes they will be a benchmark to Doyle becoming champion jockey in the future.
