Scotia on the last two games

World Cup was a great success for SA,but the football was a big let down,especially the final,i blame the English!!

I cannot believe how the English media are sticking up for Webb.If he were from any other country they would have slaughtered him for his terrible performance. He was far too quick to get out his yellow card and by showing Van Persie the first card for a tackle which at worse was for over stretching, Webb had sent a terrible precendent for himself. Granted both Van Bommel and De Jongh should have been given red cards in the first half and if Robben had fell to ground when pulled back by Puyol when through on goal then Puyol would have been sent off.

The very same people who said that 2010 would be a disaster are now all quiet. Well done to all those who put in all the hard work to make it a roaring success. I spoke to many fans from different countries and they all had nothing but good things to say about the country and the people of South Africa. It was wonderful to go and watch matches without the usual scum swearing obsenities to the opposition and their fans (as heard every week at Premier league matches)

I tried to search for our debate that we had before the World Cup. I think the title was "Rip Off South Africa" but it seems to have dissapeared. Not really relevant. the event was a success.

Nice comments CnC - I knew that the people of this country had it in them. I just pray that the goodwill can extend beyond just the visitors of this country and on to eachother.
