I agree with Unhappy.
Hard enough winning races when everything is 100%.
Would have to be a good horse and mild bow for me to persevere.
Scan can tell severity..shows pockets of fluid and indicates your chances. But a lot of guessing involved ultimately.
I remember a horse called Waitara who ran 2nd in Met had a tendon injury which had him off for a year. Returned to run 2nd in next Met and then retired.
