anybody replaced attenborough and clyde basel yet

has basels position as in charge of ra been taken yet and has attenboroughs position been filled yet...basels was vacated last june and attenborough since beginning of april...any news

both jobs pay too little.
the RA is R500k pa ctc...ctc includes single ply toilet paper
and DA is R800k pa ctc

guess that many a previously disadvantaged citizen will be interested....woman..and EE guys...
uk pays average 600 pounds per day
or 13200 pounds per month
or158400 pounds per annum
or in rands R1742400 per year

so who in their right mind will consider these jobs...

I'm not sure its always about the money Andrew.
For the love of the game and the Industry I would consider DA's job........

I believe they are going to make the decision based on the best qualified guy they can find. That won't mean a guy who has qualifications AND knows horseracing, it will mean a guy who has run big companies successfully before and who has a good track record under pressure. Their argument will be that they have enough horse racing people who work under the CEO that he won't have to worry about the day to day running of the operation. He will be in charge of the budgets and making money. Simple as that.

Companies very seldom hire people who have a complete knowledge of their product, they hire people who can run a company well!!

That won't change, according to me.
