Hibs,
I'm big on Secret Pleasure too. Looking forward to noordhoek flyer but he certainly is zero value at 3/10. I won't be bankering him but he will more than likely win!!
Perhaps novelty in the 7th would be hard to beat too!!

15 years 2 months agoNoordhoek Flyer should be too classy for his opposition
MEL KAPLAN
- After his close second to Bravura in the Cape Derby, Noordhoek Flyer drops into a Graduation Plate over 1800m in Race 5 at Kenilworth on Saturday. He should encounter little opposition and looks a sound betting proposition.
The son of Pivotal has taken home four second-place cheques and another for third, apart from his two winner’s stakes. He is effective from 1200m to 2000m and though this is his first crack at 1800m, the distance will be no problem.
He has not raced since the Derby at the end of January. However, 63 days off the track will not dent the fitness of a horse of his calibre in the care of a conditioner in the league of Dean Kannemeyer. One thing racegoers can be sure of is the three-year-old will be primed to deliver his best on the day.
He is a colt who can race from close to the pace or from off them, so jockey Karl Neisius will be able to place him wherever the pace dictates.
Golden Parachute is also well weighted. He is only rated 1.5kg below Noordhoek Flyer and 17 points (8.5kg) higher than the next best-rated runner. Against him is that he performs best over 2400m and further. That’s not to suggest the New Zealand-bred cannot win, but there are others who make more appeal over the distance.
League Of Honour has not been beaten since raced over 1800m at this track in his last two starts. His earlier form over slightly less ground is also good and he could be second best.
All Is Forgiven was cut into in his penultimate run and was coughing after his latest race. He still ran decently and having won two of his five starts to date, has scope for improvement.
However, Noordhoek Flyer will take a power of beating.
