Hard to beleive that we have two members with runners in the worlds Richest race....

Barry with Gitano Hernando who looks to have a great chance and could end up going of close to Favourite..

And Bravo/Kobus with his Lizard`s Desire
..

Goodluck guys!

Thanks.

Everything has gone "smashingly" as you might say coming from Limeytown.

Lots of trash talking and rumors swirling around the stable area.

The older I get, the less interested I am in anything but the 2 minutes of the race itself.
.
This is going to be an interest contest, because the course used to be European like in style but American like in surface. Now it is just the opposite, being American like in style and European like in surface.

With a hoop of only 7 1/2 furlongs, a premium will be placed on position and the bookies were right to ease Twice Over after he drew the 11.

As usual, there are some big names in the race, but are those names in fact reflective of what they once reflected?

I know my horse is fresh, live and improved.

I suspect there are others that have a right to improve.

The form horses have chinks in their armor.

I see some longshots running very well in the World Cup.

I guess if my horse wins that I will have to buy all of the freaking ABC crowd drinks when I come to Turffontein for the race meeting just in advance of the yearling sale. That'll give you something to root for!

Vision d'Etat looked better this morning and is expected to clear the vet by his trainer. Yesterday he was unable to go to the track, but this morning it is a better picture for him.
