We went about 8 years ago and paid $60 per person per day per park. But its something that lives with you for the rest of your life its so amazing so its worth it. You become a child for the time that you are there as you want to go on every ride and see everything thats going. I want to go back one day.

Why knock the guy, when he probably hit on a lot of truths, that would rather be swept under the carpet, by the powers that be.
There was plenty of merit in issues he raised about how technology, especially, can be used to zone in, on how easy it is, to pull wool over the eyes of the uneducated punters (or should it be uneducated cash cows).
I do not know Andrewest, nor have I met him, but he certainly had the balls, to raise and write about very real life ,controversial issues, that probably, put some "stakeholders" in an uncomfortable situation.
So much for freedom of speech.
Reading between the lines, on most of, Andrewest comments, I think the man speaks from personal, real experiences, after realising how difficult it is to beat the system.
One just has to look at our current political set-up, to see how power corrupts.......and with the daily cash cow, of horse racing, regularly raking in, so many millions, it would be foolish, and narrow minded, to assume that all is "above board".
Manipulating tote payouts is a very real issue. Has Phum ever tried to disprove any insinuated wrong doings by producing computerised records.....have the auditors been audited.....this would uncover a lot more than the naked eye can see.
So give the man some credit, while the others hide behind smoke screens.

Hibs I am going to Beldord Park in Edinburgh tomorrow. Do you suggest I go through the city or go on the by pass and come back on myself via Murryfield?
