Shoddy coverage coming up?

It's going to be a long day's racing. 12 races at Turffies and 10 at Scottsville, plus Zim and UK. So tell me, do we really also need farking Ngong? All it will do is clutter the schedule and lead to second rate TV coverage of the races that matter.

i've been thinking about this ngong story - perhaps phumelela should bring the trainers down to sa and see if they can attract some sa owners. maybe some of the low rated mr horses can find a home there- or just stop showing it - how did it survive before we started showing it?

Ngong is mildly irritating at the best of times but the addition of Turffies' bumper card to the day's schedule will make it a bigger pain than usual. Racing is supposed to be the brain game anyway, not a bloody casino where you can mindlessly gamble non stop.

Yes have been complaining about Ngong and a 2nd channel since the site opened.

At the track can watch Racing International (which I will do) plus the track feed. Plus also a devise you can now plug into your computer where you can watch the track feed only. Its R2.000 ? per year. Was considering, but I go racing on Saturdays and dont have time during the week, not sure how many mega bites it uses? Sure we will get there eventually where the punter can watch what he wants.
