time for under starters orders to get rid of dean finder
15 years 3 months ago
he is brought onto the show to answer queries on bookmaking issues of which there are zero every week from the public and then goes through the betting claims which im sure the presenters can do when they preview that particular race..maybe have him on once a month to answer any bookmaking questions but by discarding him it gives more time for the people doing the preview to give their views and also fit in more interviews with trainers..

Well if the punters have no concerns with the bookies?
Why note invite someone from the tote to answer questions?

Not really Rob, the questions would then be coming from the punters/public and not from the studio.
In fact I would love to have a panel show where you had racing authorities answering calls from the public, I am sure guys like Gary Ballie has this type of show for soccer where they just take random calls?
I am sure if USO just took calls in the morning or extracts from the forums they would have plenty material for the show?
its just a thought

I'd really like Daryl Maree to have something like a "Looking Back/watch and win" segment where he picks five runons per centre(he'll pick us good form runs) Let him rather voice over why we should include those horses for the day. We punters don't have easy access to video backruns and this will help on the day. He can even show runs on horses that he thinks will be beat so we get an idea who to cover in exotics. After all it is a visual production not a radio show so why not use it for that purpose

They used to have a call in show on the old IGN but it got too close to certain truths so that was stopped...how long did "You be the judge" last...we won't be getting any questions answered soon!
